•Each class with 60% or more participation* will get to attend a Pizza Party!
(*Participation is counted when your student sends at least 10 email requests, regardless of sponsor/donation amount collected.)
Prizes for top individual fundraisers:
•1st place earner schoolwide: 4 tickets to Knotts Berry Farm!
•2nd place earner schoolwide: Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids Pro Tablet!
•3rd place earner schoolwide: Super Spiritwear Bundle! (2 sweatshirts, 2 t-shirts, 2 hats, 2 magnets) *styles subject to availability
How Do I Raise Money?
At the end of the Spell-a-Thon, contributions can be made in cash, by check (payable to “Booster Club of Playa del Rey”), or by using the PDR PledgeStar website.
How Do I Track and Report?
Use the spell pledge sheet tracker log found below to keep track of your pledges. At the end of Spell-a-thon, collect your money and turn into your teacher by Friday, February 24, 2023.

How Do I Raise Money?
- Sign up at the PDR PledgeStar website to collect pledges. Send 10 emails or more to help your class earn participation towards attending a pizza party.
- Support spellers and raise funds for Friends of Playa!
- Flat amount (example: $20 regardless of the correctly spelled words)
- Per word (example: 0.05/correct words)
- Spread the word! Invite family and friends to support your readers.

- Spelling Test will be administer on Friday, February 17th by your teacher.
